Ask LEAP: Open Office Hours

Do you have questions about what LEAP is and how we can help you save energy and money? Concerns about your energy bills and home performance? Are you considering getting a home energy assessment but want to get some tips about how it works? Did your home already get an assessment and now you're trying to figure out what to do next? 

LEAP is here to help. And as your one-stop-shop for home energy services in Central Virginia, we want you to have easy, consistent access to us. 

LEAP has Open Office Hours with our Client Relations Manager for programmatic questions every Wednesday 1-4 pm and with our Residential Energy Services Manager (a.k.a. the "House Doctor") every Friday 1-4 pm. Swing by our offices at ecoREMOD: The Energy House at 608 Ridge Street (at the corner of Ridge and Elliott, across from the Tonsler Park tennis courts).

They can help answer your questions, provide insights into home energy improvements, walk you through the LEAP process, and point you in the right direction to start saving energy and money and enjoying the a more comfortable home today. 

For all other times, it's best to schedule an appointment to speak with us as our staff are often in and out meeting with home and business owners, contractors, and others in the community. 

LEAP's offices are located in ecoREMOD: The Energy House at 608 Ridge Street in Charlottesville, VA.

Directions:

ecoREMOD is located at 608 Ridge Street across from the Tonsler Park tennis courts at the corner of Ridge and Elliott (where Elliott turns into Cherry). Tip: If you are driving on Ridge leaving downtown in the direction of Interstate 64, cross over Elliott and take the first left at the sign for "600-1000 Ridge." Take the first sharp left, and we are at the end of the street.

There is neighborhood street parking, but space is limited. We encourage people who visit ecoREMOD to take the bus, ride a bike or walk (10 minute walk from downtown) -- or carpool if you're coming for an event. If you drive and there is no parking available on Ridge, there should be space down the hill at Tonsler Park.
