LEAP's Offices at ecoREMOD

LEAP's offices are located in ecoREMOD: The Energy House at 608 Ridge Street in Charlottesville.

Designed and funded by the City of Charlottesville and the University of Virginia, inspired by LEAP, and with the support of key sponsors in our community, we have transformed a formerly neglected home in a historic neighborhood into an innovative energy demonstration house.

You are invited to see how energy and water improvements can be achieved in your home, no matter the age or condition of the property, by visiting LEAP at ecoREMOD.

Want to stop by and see what the buzz is about? Here are some options:

  • In 2011 we hosted free monthly workshops at ecoREMOD, including a tour of the house. Stay tuned for more details about events in 2012.
     
  • Email us or call 434.227.4666 to set up an appointment or schedule a tour of or training at ecoREMOD for your school, neighborhood, office or civic group.
     
  • Visit us 1-4 every Wednesday for ecoREMOD Open Office hours with LEAP's Client Relations Manager. We'll be available to answer questions about LEAP's programs and show you around the house during this time. We encourage you to schedule an appointment if possible though it is not required. (Note: This is subject to change, and we will post a notice here if ecoREMOD will be closed.)
     
  • Visit us 1-4 every Friday for LEAP's Open Office hours with LEAP's Residential Energy Services Manager -- a.k.a. the "House Doctor." We'll be available to answer questions about your house specifically and LEAP's programs. We encourage you to schedule an appointment if possible though it is not required. (Note: This is subject to change, and we will post a notice here if ecoREMOD will be closed.)
     
  • Stop by any other time during the week. With a small staff, we cannot promise that the door will always be open or that we'll be able to directly assist you. But we have educational displays throughout the house that enable self-guided tours.
  • Stay tuned for additonal Open House events that we will host throughout the year.

NOTE: LEAP will not hold Open Office hours at ecoREMOD on the following Fridays: November 25, December 23 and December 30.
