As a proud Home Performance with ENERGY STAR sponsor, we provide a 0% financing option, certified home energy assessors, pre-qualified local contractors, and quality assurance for your energy efficiency needs. Get a Home Performance with ENERGY STAR certificate and enjoy 20% (or more) energy savings for your home. HPwES has a cost of $75 to the homeowner to participate in our program, and if you prefer LEAP can deduct this fee from your rebate so that there are no additional out of pocket expenses for you. Here’s how participation in our program works:

• Complete a free online survey to understand your home's energy savings potential.
• Send us your enrollment agreement for LEAP's Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program (the agreement is mandatory as it allows us to reserve your rebate).
• If you are already working with a contractor, let us know that on your agreement. If you are not, LEAP will have a BPI Certified Building Analyst from our network contact you about scheduling an energy assessment for your home.
• Complete your home energy assessment and review your reports findings for cost effective energy improvements (assessment is eligible for a $250 rebate). A LEAP staff profesional can review the assessment report with you if you like.
• If you are interested in financing options, contact our lending partner. LEAP's HPwES program participants are eligible for a limited time offer of 0% loans.
• Select a LEAP Certified Responsible Contracting Company to install your home energy improvements (eligible for up to a $1,000 cash rebate). Be sure to tell your LEAP contractor you are in the HPwES program.
• Once the installations are complete, LEAP will review the work for quality assurance. You will then be sent your Certificate and cash rebate.
• Enjoy your investment in a healthier and more comfortable home and watch the energy savings pay you dividends over the months ahead.

LEAP's Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program begins with a professional home assessment as the first, best step to help you understand how to have a more comfortable and healthier home - as well as a solid return on your retrofit investment. A building analyst will do a thorough assessment of current household energy use, durability, and health and safety. Then they will propose home improvements to suit your home, budget and priorities. LEAP can then help you bundle at least $1,250 in existing rebates to make energy efficiency an even smarter investment in your home.
