Assisted Home Performance with ENERGY STAR
Through the generosity of the City of Charlottesville, LEAP is also able to offer Assisted Home Performance with ENERGY STAR. This program provides up to $5000 in energy efficiency improvements for low income City residents who own their homes.
The money available is limited, and residents can apply on a first-come first-served basis. Income qualifications are in the table below, and income verification is required. Please contact LEAP for more information. You can also download the enrollment agreement here.

Weatherization
Depending on your income level, you may be eligible for the Department of Energy's Weatherization Assistance Program. This free program helps homeowners weatherize and perform other energy efficiency measures.
